Water
This week we have been thinking about what we know about water. Alice was able to tell us that most of our bodies are made up of water! We decided we need water for lots of things from washing ourselves, drinking, cooking, watering plants to flushing the toilet! Ethan reminded us that we also need water to put out fires. On Thursday Jane asked us where we thought water came from. Hmmm... this got us thinking so we put on our 'Sherlock Holmes' hats, took the camera and went out to search the school grounds. This is some of what we found.

Great photos of cute kids.Today there was water water everywhere at the house where I work. The water rushed right through the house and the firemen came to help us but we couldn't get out because the water was too deep.The water went out of the house almost as quickly as it came in but what a big mess was left behind.The people who live in the house had to go to a motel. It will be a long time before they can live in their house again.
